Responsibilities:

As a School-Based Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions with students in a school setting.
  • Assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Providing crisis intervention and support to students in need.
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions and techniques to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of student progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid license as a mental health therapist in the state of Florida.
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and school staff.

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
