Job Description

Second Semester School Psychologist 

  • Location: Grand Junction, CO
  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time, in-person only
  • Position: District-wide
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports and provide recommendations for student support
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues
  • Support staff and families in developing appropriate interventions and strategies for student success
  • Qualifications:
  • Must hold a current School Psychologist license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Extensive experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and working with diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) models
  • Strong understanding of special education processes, including IEP and 504 plans
  • Proven ability to provide consultation and collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators
