Job Description
Second Semester School Psychologist
- Location: Grand Junction, CO
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time, in-person
- Position: District-wide
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations
- Provide counseling services and behavioral interventions for students in need
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing support and recommendations for student accommodations
- Collaborate with school teams to ensure effective interventions and strategies are in place
- Qualifications:
- Licensed as a School Psychologist through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Significant experience in psychological assessment and report writing
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based mental health services
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures
- Start Date: ASAP
