Role Overview & Responsibilities
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to support elementary students in Dixon, Illinois. As a vital part of our team, you will provide essential services to support students' social, emotional, and academic well-being. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and group counseling to address students’ social and emotional needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to create effective intervention plans.
- Offering crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and support for students facing social or family challenges.
- Conducting assessments to identify barriers to student success and creating plans to support growth.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement is required.
- Skills: Strong assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working in an elementary school environment.
Interview Process
