Paraprofessional - TLC Program

- Hourly Rate: $18–$25 based on experience
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our TLC program, supporting PreK-8th grade students with moderate to severe special needs. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in providing care and support for students to help them thrive in a structured learning environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Assistance with Personal Care: Support students with toileting, hygiene, and other personal care needs.
- Behavioral and Physical Support: Provide consistent behavioral assistance and physical support, ensuring the safety and well-being of each student.
- Instructional Support: Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to deliver adapted lessons.
- Daily Routines: Facilitate daily classroom routines and activities, promoting an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with severe disabilities, ideally within an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Preferred Skills: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience is preferred.
- Personal Care Support: Comfort with assisting in personal care and physical support needs is required.
Interview Process
Selected candidates will participate in a phone screening, followed by an on-site interview to discuss qualifications and tour the program.
