Compensation
- Hourly rate: $50-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We’re seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in San Juan Capistrano, California. This is a part-time role, working 8 hours a day on Wednesdays and Fridays, serving elementary students in Laguna Niquel. If you’re passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and have experience in assessments and behavioral support, this could be a great fit for you! Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessments: Conduct Triennial and Initial assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- ERMHS Support: Provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) as needed for students.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and the special education team to ensure students receive the appropriate support.
- IEP Participation: Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
- Support: Additional resources and support will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Requirements
- Certification: Valid California School Psychologist credential.
- Education: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Experience: Prior experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Additional Requirements for California
- California Credential: Must hold or be eligible for a California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check as required by California regulations.
Interview Process

- Follow-up interview as needed.
