Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $35-$43 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Role Overview & Responsibilities
We’re looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team, working with middle school students in grades 7-9. If you have a passion for supporting students with diverse needs, this could be the perfect fit! Here’s what the role involves:
- Instruction: Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students’ IEPs.
- Classroom Management: Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and positive behavior.
- Collaboration: Work closely with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure student success.
- IEP Development: Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress to adapt instruction and meet educational goals.
Requirements
- Michigan Certification: Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher License required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a middle school setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong classroom management, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively with support staff.
Additional Requirements for Michigan:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
- Background Check: Clearance required as per Michigan state regulations.
Interview Process
