ProCare Therapy has a school district near Bloomington, IL looking to interview and hire a sign language interpreter to work full-time.

Job Details:

• Full-Time
• Needed ASAP-End of School Year
• Monday-Friday (Fridays are virtual)
• 8am-3pm
• 3 students

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly interprets spoken words into sign language for the deaf/hard of hearing students.
• Accurately interprets deaf/hard of hearing students’ signs into fluent English for other students, and staff.
• Must have understanding of technologies that help translate speech to text in the classroom.
• Working together and communicating with other staff members and parents
• Assisting students with ASL (in some cases this includes teaching ASL to students)
• Holding and attending IEP meetings and evaluations to go over student’s progress.
