Job Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy to students in a school-based setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals on the student's treatment team
Job Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
Master s degree in speech-language pathology from a program that meets ASHA certification requirements or is accredited by the Educational Standards Board
Current IL state license in speech-language pathology
PEL Certification
Preferred:
Experience working in schools
Experience working with AAC devices
Experience with IEPs
