High School Special Education Teacher – Aberdeen, WA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Aberdeen, WA. This full-time role focuses on providing exceptional education to students in grades 9-12, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Position Details
- Location: Aberdeen, WA
- Grade Level: High School (9-12)
- Start/End Date: ASAP – June 13, 2025
- Schedule:
- Days per week: 5
- Hours per day: 7.5
- Caseload: 8-10 students
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both individual and small group settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet their educational goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and recommending tailored strategies for success.
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement (required).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working with high school students is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $32+ (Based on experience).
