Special Education Teacher Consultant

We are seeking a Full Time Teacher Consultant for a school district near:

• Lansing, Michigan

Requirements:

• M.S. in Special Education
• Must have an active Michigan teaching license
• At least 3 years of schools experience

• 6th-12th grade caseload
• Mild-Moderate Learning Disabilities
• Remainder of the school year

Responsibilities:

• Adapt general education lessons in subjects to assist their students
• Comfortable teaching students with mild to severe disabilities
• Develop and execute IEP’s for each student
• Assess students’ performance, and track their progress
• Supervise and mentor teacher assistants who work with students with disabilities

Employment Type:

• Contract

Hours

• 8:00-4:00
