ProCare Therapy is actively hiring Special Education Teachers to work with elementary students in autism-specific classrooms in Southbridge, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for educators passionate about providing specialized instruction in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Southbridge, MA
• Grade Level: Elementary
• Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
• Contract Duration: ASAP – June 17, 2025
• Classroom Details:
  • Autism-specific classrooms
  • 12 students per class
  • Collaborative support provided
• Openings: Multiple positions available

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students with autism.
• Use evidence-based practices and adaptive teaching methods to engage learners effectively.
• Foster a structured and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to provide holistic support.
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies to meet their evolving needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active state certifications for Special Education in Massachusetts.
• Experience working in autism-specific classrooms is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
