Position Overview: We are excited to welcome a dedicated Contract Special Education Teacher to our team, who will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and stimulating environment for students with diverse learning needs. As a ProCare Therapy contractor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to cater to students' unique learning styles and abilities.
• Collaboration with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a unified and inclusive classroom experience.
• Utilization of varied instructional strategies, technologies, and resources to actively engage students and facilitate their learning journey.
• Cultivation of a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages mutual respect, acceptance, and teamwork.
• Ongoing assessment of student progress, adaptation of teaching techniques, and provision of prompt feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Maintenance of accurate and organized records, documenting student performance, behavior, and tailored accommodations.
• Participation in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and pedagogy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Wisconsin teaching certification in Special Education.
• Prior experience in working with diverse student learning needs.
• Profound understanding of IEP development and execution.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to student success.
