We need a special education teacher in Frederick, MD for the 24/25 school year

Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Elementary 
Location: Frederick, MD
Employment Type: Contract, 2024/2025 School Year, Full-Time Hours
Caseload Details:

• K-12 
  * Elementary
  * Inclusive Teacher
  * Programs: Pyramid
  * Middle School
  * Inclusive Teacher
  * Programs: Pyramid and FCPS RISE
  * High School
  * Inclusive Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field) 
• ACTIVE License/Certification in MD in Special Education Teaching.
• Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
• CDE license required
