Special Education Teacher Needed in Dexter, NM

Job Description

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Dexter, NM. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans according to classroom curriculum
• Create Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that corresponds with needs of students
• Conduct assessments when needed
• Document and monitor all data 
• Facilitate IEP processes 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
• Provide consultation services with parents and staff members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid state Special Education teaching license 
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of each student.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
