Science Special Education Teacher Framingham, MA
We are seeking a qualified Science Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated team in Framingham, MA, for the upcoming school year. This position involves teaching students with diverse needs in a behavioral/emotional program with small class sizes, ensuring each student receives personalized support and guidance.
Position Details:
- Teach 5 science classes with class sizes under 12 students.
- Liaison caseload of 10 students.
- Chair annual review/reconvene meetings, write IEPs, and report on IEP goals.
- Support students with internalized and externalized behavioral/emotional needs.
- Each class will have an assistant for added support.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Science endorsement (preferred).
- Active Massachusetts teaching license/certification required.
- CORI search and fingerprints are required
