Seeking a new opportunity within a school district? ProCare Therapy proudly collaborates with an outstanding school district in Houston, Texas, in search of a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team for the current school year!
Responsibilities:
- Support Transitions: Prepare students for transitions between grades or into adult life.
- Manage Classroom: Implement behavioral strategies for a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate: Work with general education teachers, parents, and professionals.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer encouragement and help students develop coping skills.
- Adapt Instruction: Modify teaching methods to fit students' learning needs.
- Assess and Monitor: Track student progress through assessments and observation.
- Develop IEPs: Create individualized education plans for each student.
Requirements:
- TX Special Education Teacher certification.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Special Education.
- Open to candidates of all experience levels, including recent graduates.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $35 to $40 per hour

- Weekly pay every Friday
