Position Details

Available Roles

1. Emotional Development (ED) Classroom Teacher
2. Grade Level: 2nd or 3rd Grade

3. TAB Program Teacher
4. Focus: Elementary Students
5. Multiple positions available

6. Interventionist Teacher
7. Grade Level: Junior High and High School

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (required).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience in special education settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
• Provide instruction and interventions in small group, inclusion, or one-on-one settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to ensure success.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through targeted interventions.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $32+ (Varies based on experience).
