Special Education Teacher – Contract Position
Location: Near Saint Paul, Minnesota
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for this school year. The role is within an excellent school district that offers strong support, wonderful colleagues, and great students. For those commuting, travel and housing stipends are available to help offset the cost.
Responsibilities:
- Develop IEPs: Create individualized education plans for students.
- Adapt Instruction: Modify teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Classroom Management: Implement behavioral strategies for a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and professionals.
- Assess and Monitor: Track student progress through assessments and observations.
- Support Transitions: Prepare students for grade transitions and life beyond school.
- Provide Emotional Support: Help students develop coping skills and provide encouragement.
Requirements:
- Certified Special Education Teacher in Minnesota.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education.
- Open to candidates at all experience levels, including recent graduates.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $45.

- Weekly pay, received every Friday.
- Salary is negotiable based on experience.
