Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Full-Time, Full School Year Contract

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher with a valid New Hampshire teaching license to join our team for a full-time, full school year contract. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Create and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress, assess their strengths and areas for growth, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, including IEP documentation, progress reports, and attendance records.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends, research, and best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching license.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students with special needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $28 to $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
