We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an exciting opportunity in Paragould, AR.

Position Overview:
As a full-time SLPA, you will work directly under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assist in providing therapeutic support to students. This role involves implementing treatment plans, supporting communication goals, and helping students achieve success in their daily activities. We are looking for an SLPA who is compassionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized speech and language treatment plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in small group or individual settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, keeping records of each session.
  • Support and encourage students in achieving communication goals in line with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with the SLP, teachers, and other school staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.
  • Follow all school and state regulations related to SLPA practice.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Arkansas.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for helping students reach their full potential.
