School Speech Therapist: Contract Position

Plainfield is a town in Windham Country this town is compromised of four villages including Plainfield, Moosup, Wauregan , and central village.  Plainfield is known for its fertile lands, streams and rivers as well as once being an industrial center when first being founded. 

Assignment Details:

  • Evaluations, Therapy, IEP meetings
  • Caseload:
    • K-12th
  • Employment Type:
    • Full-Time (35 hrs)
    • Full school year
    • Onsite

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist License (CT)
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluations.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, voice, hearing and language impairments.
  • Create individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation, and social communication.
