Responsibilities:

• Screens, evaluates, and diagnoses speech/language disorders and determines student eligibility for enrollment in the speech/language program.
• Develops goals, objectives, methods, and materials to assist students in achieving their highest potential.
• Provides a therapeutic program to meet the individual needs of Speech-Language Impaired students
• Provides speech/language services in full compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintains thorough, ongoing student records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborates with regular education teachers and other staff members to implement therapy suggestions for the student’s daily activities.

Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license required in the state of Arizona
• Master's or Doctorate level degree in Speech Language-Pathology and Communication Disorders required
• Passed drug screen required
• Cleared fingerprints required
• School experience is preferred but not required
