Job Description

ProCare Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contracted position at a school in Norco, California. This role begins immediately and continues through the end of the school year. As an SLP, you will work with K-12 students, helping them overcome a wide range of speech and language challenges to enhance their academic and social abilities.

In this position, you will be responsible for assessing students’ speech and language needs and developing individualized treatment plans. You’ll have the opportunity to provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, working with students who require various levels of support. With a manageable caseload, you will be able to devote adequate time and attention to each student’s needs, ensuring that they receive the highest quality care and support.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, contract
  • Location: Norco, CA
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Through the end of the school year
  • Hourly Rate: Starting at $48/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address specific communication challenges
  • Provide speech and language therapy, focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication
  • Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure the success of students’ speech and language goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on speech and language goals and accommodations
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure in California
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Passion for helping students improve their communication skills and achieve their academic goals
