Job Title: Contract School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description: ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a contract employee at a school in Logansport, IN. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome speech and language disorders, enabling them to communicate effectively and achieve their educational goals. This full-time position is a great opportunity to impact the lives of elementary school students in Logansport, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with teachers and professionals for integrated services
• Provide direct therapy services, targeting speech and language goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to enhance students' communication skills
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate and involve parents and caregivers, providing strategies and resources for home support
• Collaborate with school staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Indiana
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations desirable
• Knowledge of special education processes and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
