Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Jarrell, TX
Job Type: Contract; W-2; Onsite

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a school-based setting in the state of TX. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing and treating communication and language disorders in school aged students. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to determine the communication needs of students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address language and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the education team to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide training and consultation to teachers and parents on strategies to support communication development in the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid TX State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
