Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Cap: 55 students
Setting: Onsite only
Age Range: Early Childhood/Elementary
Position Type: Full-Time (3-4 days/week considered)
Travel: Will travel around the district
Position Overview:
Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Onsite only
Weekly Hours: Up to 40 hours for Full-Time; flexible for part-time options
Caseload Size: Maximum of 55 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood and elementary students.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Travel to various district locations as needed to provide services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Wisconsin state licensure as an SLP.
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) accepted.
- Experience with diverse age groups is preferred.
Support and Resources:
- Training: Support from experienced SLPs with IEP processes and documentation.
- Collaboration: Regular meetings with SLP staff for ongoing professional development.
- Assistance: Help with additional evaluations as needed.
