Job Description:

As a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with a diverse caseload of students in various age groups, providing assessment, intervention, and support services to help students overcome communication and speech challenges. You will collaborate with other professionals, teachers, and parents to create individualized treatment plans and ensure each student's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties.
  • Monitor and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and accommodations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to helping students achieve their communication goals.
