Speech Language Pathologist Wanted – Gibraltar School District – Start Changing Lives!

About the School and Community: Nestled in the beautiful Grosse Ile area, Gibraltar School District is known for its welcoming environment and commitment to student success. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll split your time between working with high school students one day a week (15 students) and elementary students four days a week (35 students). You’ll help a diverse caseload of 50 students improve their communication skills, setting them up for academic and personal success.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Speech Language Pathologist: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language difficulties. You’ll work closely with a team of educators and parents to ensure that each student’s individualized plan is effective and tailored to their needs. From running engaging therapy sessions to participating in IEP meetings, you’ll be a critical part of helping students overcome challenges and succeed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Michigan State License to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to work onsite at both the high school and elementary levels
- Must pass fingerprints and drug screening
- Strong collaborative skills and a passion for student development
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive pay: $43 to $50 per hour (based on experience)
