Exciting Opportunity: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist for Schools

In this role, you will work with a diverse student population, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential. As a vital member of our innovative teletherapy team, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver tailored therapy sessions that cater to each student's unique needs.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups to address specific speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document students' progress towards meeting therapy goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct screenings to identify students who may need speech and language evaluations.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on speech and language development and strategies to support communication in the classroom.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop comprehensive educational plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Stay informed about current practices, research, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Advocate for students' communication needs and ensure they receive appropriate services and accommodations.
- Facilitate communication and language development in students with diverse needs, including those with autism, hearing impairments, and other disabilities.
- Provide support and counseling to students and their families regarding speech and language disorders.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain certification and licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New Hampshire Teaching Certification preferred
- New Hampshire SLP license required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
Highlights:

- Guaranteed Weekly Hours
- Hourly Rate: $45-$55
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
