Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, energized, and experienced speech language pathologist to join our virtual school team. As a school SLP providing teletherapy, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy, and creating individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to identify students with speech and language disorders
  • Developing individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Providing therapy to students through virtual sessions
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the student's success
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of all services provided
  • Participating in IEP meetings

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Louisiana state licensure (and licensure in state of residence, if applicable) as a speech language pathologist
  • Valid LA Teaching Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in school settings
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students
