Job Overview:

• Position: Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
• Location: Work from home, serving Connecticut schools
• Job Type: 1099 Contract (Full-Time or Part-Time)
• Start Date: Immediate openings available
• Caseload: K-12 students, details discussed during the interview
• Pay Rate: Starting at $44 per hour, based on experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations and screenings
• Develop customized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
• Provide remote speech therapy sessions using teletherapy technology
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support teachers and families with strategies to improve communication skills in the classroom and at home

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active Connecticut SLP License and Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum of two years of school-based SLP experience preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable high-speed internet and a laptop or desktop computer
