Job Overview:
- Position: Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
- Location: Work from home, serving Connecticut schools
- Job Type: 1099 Contract (Full-Time or Part-Time)
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
- Caseload: K-12 students, details discussed during the interview
- Pay Rate: Starting at $44 per hour, based on experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop customized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
- Provide remote speech therapy sessions using teletherapy technology
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support teachers and families with strategies to improve communication skills in the classroom and at home
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Connecticut SLP License and Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of school-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and a laptop or desktop computer
