  • Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)
  • Hours: 20 Hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: December 2024
  • Caseload: 30 students diagnosed with moderate to severe autism, primarily non-verbal. Most utilize an AAC device or tablet.
  • Requirements: Must be Board Certified

Your Innovative Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Virtual Support: Work alongside another BCBA in a dynamic virtual environment, providing essential support to a diverse student population across multiple districts.

  • Expert Consultations: Leverage your expertise to conduct remote consultations with teachers, staff, paraeducators, and parents, ensuring tailored support for each student.

  • Comprehensive Assessments: Perform virtual Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Social Communication Impact Assessments (SCIAs) to create individualized interventions.

  • Creative Behavior Plans: Design and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using innovative digital tools to maximize student success.

  • Empowering Educator Training: Offer virtual training sessions for educators on effectively implementing BIPs, cultivating an inclusive online classroom environment.

  • Engaging Support Materials: Develop and share digital social stories and visual aids to enrich students’ virtual learning experiences.

  • Dynamic Social Groups: Facilitate virtual Social Groups and Lunch Bunch activities to foster social skills and positive interactions among students.
