**Position: Special Education Teacher**
**Location: Warren, Michigan**
**Duration: Full-Time; 2024-2025 School Year**
**Caseload: There are multiple positions open: Elementary, Middle, and High school caseloads; Resource and Life Skills positions

**What We’re Looking For**
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team for the next school year. You'll be working closely with other educators, parents, and specialists to provide personalized support that helps our students succeed both academically and socially.

**What You'll Do**

• Create and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
• Adjust your teaching methods to meet the different needs of your students.
• Use the latest evidence-based practices and tech to make learning engaging and effective.
• Regularly check in on student progress and tweak your teaching strategies to boost success.
• Team up with general education teachers, counselors, and specialists to support student development.
• Keep parents and guardians updated on their child’s progress and goals.

**What You Need**

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (a Master’s degree is a plus).
• Valid Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for certification.
• Experience with students who have a range of learning needs and disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and how to implement them.
• Great communication and people skills.

**Nice to Have**

• Experience with assistive technology and adaptive tools.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and positive behavior support strategies.
• Ability to work well in a team.
