Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee special education cases and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • IEP Writing: Develop, review, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with SPED teachers and families.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track student progress and provide reports to assist with program adjustments.

Requirements

  • Virginia Teaching License: Must hold a valid Special Education Teacher license in Virginia.
  • ECSE Endorsement: Must have an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) endorsement to work with preschool students.
  • Experience: Prior experience with case management, IEP development, and early childhood special education is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate remotely.

Interview Process

  1. Initial Screening: Once your resume is received, we will schedule a brief phone interview to discuss your qualifications and experience.
  2. Virtual Interview: Selected candidates will be invited to a video interview with the hiring manager, where we’ll dive deeper into your experience and discuss how you would support our team in this role.
