We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated School-Based Speech Language Pathologists to join our team in Hardwick, VT.

Job Summary: We are hiring School-Based Speech Language Pathologists to provide comprehensive services to students in Hardwick, VT for the 2023-2024 school year. We have multiple needs and offer various employment options, including full-time, part-time, and per diem positions. The caseload will span from 40-50 Students. This is a W-2 contract position with a competitive hourly rate and a full benefits package. The position will be itinerant, requiring you to travel between school sites, and it is an onsite-only role.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective communication strategies and support student progress.
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports and treatment notes.
  • Provide support and intervention for students.
  • Adhere to professional standards, code of ethics, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of VT.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for helping students improve their communication skills and achieve their goals.
