ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract position at a fantastic school district in Aurora, Illinois. Previous virtual teaching experience required!
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs.
- Modify teaching strategies and materials to accommodate the diverse learning styles, abilities, and challenges of students.
- Foster a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment that encourages both academic and social growth for all students.
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, specialists, and other staff members to address student needs in various settings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Special Education.
- Special Education Teacher certification.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $35-$37.
