ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Virtual Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year located in Minnesota

Position Details:

  • Full time position 
  • 2023-2024 school year
  • K-12th grade caseload

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide personalized instruction and support to students with special needs, tailoring lessons and materials to meet each student's unique learning goals and accommodations.
  2. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses, conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services, and regularly monitor progress to make adjustments to instruction as needed.
  3. Work closely with parents, general education teachers, school administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  4. Adapt and modify curriculum materials to make them accessible to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education. 
  • Minnesota Special Education Licensure. 
  • Comfortable being a 1099 employee (no benefits).
  • Willing to obtain liability insurance.
