Job Description

Job Description: Join our dynamic school district team as a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Provide online speech therapy services to students, helping them overcome speech and language challenges. Flexible hours and remote work options available.
Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, utilizing teletherapy platforms to reach students remotely.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address students' specific communication and swallowing goals, in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Deliver engaging and interactive speech and language therapy sessions via teletherapy, leveraging innovative approaches to maximize student participation and progress.

  • Collaborate closely with school-based teams, including teachers, special education staff, and administrators, to ensure coordinated care and support for students with speech and language needs.

  • Monitor students' progress regularly and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as needed to support their academic and social-emotional success.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP-related documentation, adhering to school policies and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.

  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of residence.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools, with teletherapy experience preferred.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport remotely.

  • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
