Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students within the special education program.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals, delivering therapy services remotely.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals through virtual platforms to develop and monitor student's progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, utilizing interactive online tools.
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques and resources to enhance students' communication skills remotely.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records of student evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license/certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Prior experience working with special education students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for virtual interactions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and parents through online platforms.
