Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted professional nursing license (LPN or RN); must be maintained throughout employment
- Current CPR & AED certification, with ongoing renewal as required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care is highly valued
- Ability to adapt to the fast-paced needs of a school environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
- Manage chronic health conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary clinical interventions in accordance with school policy
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure timely documentation
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to create individualized healthcare plans
- Promote a safe and healthy environment by advocating for infection control and wellness practices within the school community
