Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Derry, NH! This contract opportunity is designed for a skilled professional passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis and committed to helping 5th and 6th-grade students grow and thrive. The position will run from August 2026 through June 2027, offering 32.535 hours per week within a supportive and collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for individuals holding BCBA certification, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), or experienced paraprofessionals comfortable working with middle school learners. Youll assist with implementing behavioral interventions, contribute to individualized education plans, and work directly with teachers and families to deliver the best outcomes for students.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- BCBA certification or Registered Behavior Technician credential (RBT), or prior experience as a paraprofessional in educational or behavioral settings
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and data collection
- Experience working with elementary or middle school students, particularly in grades 56
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams, families, and students
- Collaborative, adaptable, and reliable mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Support behavioral intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and document behavior data in accordance with student IEPs
- Provide direct 1:1 or small group support to students in classroom, community, and transition settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
