Exciting opportunities are available for two dedicated professionalseither Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)to provide crucial behavioral support in a school setting near Mississippi State, MS. This contract role, beginning July 27, 2026, and ending May 26, 2027, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting the learning and safety of students aged 5 to 14.

You will work part-time, 2025 hours per week, across three or four days, serving a caseload of six students distributed among six different school sites. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping students overcome behavioral challenges that affect their academic access and ensure a positive, secure learning environment for all.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RBT or BCBA certification is required
  • Previous experience supporting students in educational or similar settings
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and positive behavioral supports
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with school staff and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to the unique needs of a diverse caseload
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a safe school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized behavioral interventions for students with behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with educators and campus staff to implement and monitor behavior plans
  • Collect data to assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Contribute to campus safety by supporting students whose behaviors impact instruction or safety
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and document all activities in compliance with district and legal requirements
