Job Description
Make a lasting impact in the educational environment by supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 26 to June 10 and offers you the chance to work closely with students on the autism spectrum, assisting them in achieving their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
- Demonstrated experience working with students diagnosed with autism
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and implement functional behavioral assessments and intervention plans
- Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field is expected
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and use data-driven decision-making to monitor progress
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, and professional development to school staff
- Deliver direct services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations
- Advocate for evidence-based practices to support positive student outcomes
