Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a maternity leave contract, with immediate start and guaranteed hours through November 2026. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across three school buildings, working with students in grades 5 through 12. This full-time position offers steady daytime hours (7:00am 3:15pm, Monday through Friday), ensuring a consistent weekly schedule and a manageable workload.
Youll be part of a collaborative team, with OT supervision provided by the district. Your expertise and positive approach will help students achieve greater independence and success both academically and socially in the school setting.
What Were Looking For:
- Valid COTA licensure for Pennsylvania
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Proficiency collaborating with occupational therapists, educators, and families
- Organization and self-motivation to manage a caseload across multiple buildings
What Youll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students grades 512, as directed by supervising OT
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Travel between three school buildings within the district
