Key Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required in Virginia
- VA COTA Certification is mandatory
- Experience working in school settings is preferred
- Ability to support students of various ages, from elementary to high school
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for supporting student development in both academic and life skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Implement individualized interventions and assist with assessments under licensed occupational therapists direction
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to promote student success
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs across elementary and multi-grade assignments

- Location Options:
- Virginia Beach: Glenwood ES (elementary), August 11 June 15
- Norfolk: Camelot, Joliff, Grassfield (all school levels), August 25 June 17
- Contract duration follows the school calendar
- Full-time schedules: 7.33 hours per day, 5 days per week
