As a vital member of the therapy department, youll have the advantage of supervision provided by an experienced Occupational Therapist, ensuring growth and collaboration each day.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a COTA with relevant state credentials
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Ability to connect with students across the middle and high school spectrum
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Adaptability to work in multiple settings and collaborate with diverse teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering therapeutic interventions to students in 5th12th grades across three school buildings
- Supporting students in achieving their IEP goals under OT supervision
- Keeping accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Adapting activities to maximize student participation and success
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student plans as needed
