Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual (Spanish) School Counselor for a full-time maternity leave assignment in Elmhurst, Illinois. Position Details
Position: Bilingual (Spanish) School Counselor
Location: Churchville, IL
Grade Levels: 6th 8th Grade
Caseload: Approximately 190 students
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Assignment Dates: August 11, 2026 November 16, 2026
Reason for Opening: Maternity Leave Coverage
Interview Timeline: Hiring decisions being made ASAP
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling services to middle school students
Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
Assist with crisis intervention and student support planning
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking students and families
Qualifications
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Counselor endorsement
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
Previous school-based counseling experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.47 to $58.47. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
