Key Qualifications:
- Active certification in school counseling or related field
- Professional experience working with high school students
- Proven record of advising students through the college application and admissions process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, families, and community organizations
- Demonstrated commitment to student advocacy and well-being
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to support academic, social, and emotional development
- Guide students through college searches, application processes, scholarships, and financial aid options
- Host workshops and presentations on career and college readiness topics
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote a positive school environment
- Address students academic and personal concerns, making referrals as needed
- Maintain documentation and adhere to professional and legal standards
