Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (required)
- Valid State Special Education Certification (required)
- Experience with dyslexia interventions and accommodations
- Ability to work effectively with students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible attitude and collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction focused on life skills and functional academics to students with diverse needs
- Implement evidence-based strategies for students with dyslexia
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and integrated learning
- Develop and track IEP goals, monitor student progress, and adjust instruction as needed
- Build positive relationships with students and families to encourage engagement and growth
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations
